Our Faculty Unit Quality Commission and Student Quality Board Members Attended the Online Seminar on "Quality Assurance System and Student Participation"

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Quality Coordination Office organized an online seminar under the title "Quality Assurance System and Student Participation." The seminar was moderated by MAKÜ Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Firdevs Savi Çakar. The opening speech of the seminar was made by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar. Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Gonca Uludağ, Coordinator of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Student Commission, and Mehmet Sezer Altun, Member of the YÖKAK Student Commission, participated as speakers in the seminar.
Mentioning the fundamental principles of MAKÜ's quality assurance system, Prof. Dr. Acar stated that the Quality Assurance System should have a structure that encompasses the planning and implementation principles of the internal and external quality assurance and accreditation processes of higher education institutions' education, research, social contribution activities, and administrative services. He expressed that as Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, their quality policies are focused on national and regional development, aligned with the university's mission, vision, and values, and aimed at becoming an entrepreneurial university with international recognition and respectability, ensuring continuous improvement by enhancing all education, research, and management processes with the contributions of internal and external stakeholders through a total quality management approach.
Subsequently, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Gonca Uludağ, Coordinator of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Student Commission, and Mehmet Sezer Altun, Member of the YÖKAK Student Commission, made their presentations on "Quality Assurance System and Student Participation."
